The defence won’t rest, but the offence seems fast asleep.
The Muskie girls’ hockey team put in another workmanlike effort in exhibition play Friday night against the host International Falls Broncos.
But filling the opposition net is still proving to be a daunting task for the black-and-gold, who dropped a 3-0 decision to the Broncos.
“We have to start playing better with the puck,” said Muskie assistant coach Greg Ross. “We work hard to get it and then we give it away.
“The team was a little tired from playing Dryden [Thursday night],” he added. “The Falls are a good team that skates hard.
“Both our goalies [Megan Bob and Kim Pacarenuk] played excellent.”
The Bronco goal scorers were unavailable as of press time.
The Muskies next will hit the road to face another set of Bron-cos—this time from Kenora—as they return to NorWOSSA action tomorrow night.
