Boston Pizza seeking franchisee here


Boston Pizza International Inc. announced this week it is actively seeking a franchisee in Fort Frances as part of its rapid growth across Ontario.

Boston Pizza now has 65 locations in Ontario and plans to open up to 40 new stores across Canada this year.

“The opening of Boston Pizza in Fort Frances will create 80-100 new jobs,” said George Heos, Boston Pizza International vice-president of franchise development for Eastern Canada.

“We’re proud to contribute to Fort Frances’ economic growth with the arrival of Boston Pizza,” he added.

Boston Pizza has more than 265 locations across Canada and serves more customers annually than any other casual dining concept—generating annual system sales in excess of $550 million in 2005.

  “Boston Pizza franchisees have been extremely successful right across Canada, and we’ve had particular success with our stores in Northwestern Ontario,” said Heos.

“In the region, Boston Pizza has locations in Kenora and Thunder Bay, and is looking to expand to Dryden, in addition to Fort Frances.”
