Boat stolen from cottage

On March 19, Rainy River District OPP officers received a report of a theft from a seasonal cottage in the Lake of the Woods Township.
A police investigation determined the following property was stolen by culprits(s):

•one 1998 green-and-tan coloured 17’ Lund;
•one 1997 green 115 h.p. Johnson motor;
•one 2004 yellow-and-black Minkota electric motor;
•one 1999 grey 9.9 Honda motor; and
•one 2006 grey EZ Loader trailer.
The OPP is seeking public assistance in solving this theft.

The public is reminded to secure all vehicles, personal property, and buildings when not in use.
