Janissa Judson of the Emo Express sped through the Lakewood Tire Eagles’ defence here on Friday as her team opened the annual FFGWHA’S PeeWee tournament with a 4-1 victory. The Express later battled it out with the International Falls Broncos for fifth-place honours Sunday but came up just short in a thrilling 3-2 affair. The Lake of the Woods Red Avengers (Kenora) captured the tourney title with a 4-1 victory over the Lake of the Woods Carstar Wreckers while the hometown BDO Stars prevailed in the consolation final with a 3-1 win over Dryden Petro Canada.
