Art show

Caroline Spencer checked out some of the artwork on display at Robert Moore School yesterday while her daughter, Jamie, critiqued a piece by a fellow classmate. Students in Laurie Moxham’s Grade 5 class, with help from student teacher Jennifer Yerxa, hosted an art show in the atrium highlighting pieces they had done based on work by contemporary First Nations’ artists. The students also learned to write their own artist statement and biography, and about critiquing artwork.
