Muskie girls fall in finale

The Muskie girls concluded their NorWOSSA regular season on a losing note yesterday afternoon in Kenora, falling 3-2 to the Broncos in a shootout.
Claire Sandelovich led the black-and-gold with a pair of goals.

Hayley Moncreif netted a pair of markers for the Broncos, including the shootout winner.
While the squad waits to find out who they’ll play in the NorWOSSA semi-finals, they are getting ready to compete in the Female World Sports School Challenge tournament in Winnipeg that starts next Thursday morning.
The Muskie boys’ hockey team, meanwhile, now knows who they’ll be going up against in the opening round of the playoffs.
They will take on the Kenora Broncos on Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Ice For Kids Arena.
The winner-take-all showdown will start at 7:15 p.m.
