Muskies set to return to ice
Thursday, 17 January 2013 - 2:13pm
The schedule, which is still being finalized, would see the Muskie girls return to action Jan. 25 on the road against the Red Lake Rams.
The boys then would have their first game in more than a month Jan. 29 in Kenora versus the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints.
The first home game for the boys tentatively is set for Thursday, Jan. 31 against the Sioux Lookout Warriors, with the girls returning to the Memorial Sports Centre on Friday, Feb. 8 for a meeting with the Rams.
Single-elimination semi-final games would take place Feb. 22, with a two-game total goal final series occurring Feb. 26 and March 1.
Those games would mark the end of the season as no NorWOSSA teams will compete at OFSAA.
There was no word on the status of the boys’ basketball and girls’ volleyball teams, as well as the curling rinks for the rest of their seasons.
