Hauling tree

Volunteer firefighter Dan DeGagne had to pull hard to free this tree which was frozen to a spot on the lawn of this Church Street residence Saturday afternoon. The Fort Frances Fire Brigade conducted its annual Christmas tree pick-up, which was made a little more difficult this year in the aftermath of Friday’s storm.
