‘Bear With Me’

Devlin native Laura Darby spoke to a full house in the Shaw Room at the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre last night as she recounted her tale of being attacked by a male black bear near Thunder Bay back on Oct. 4, 2011 while working for the Ministry of Natural Resources. Darby also brought along the bear, which is now a floor rug in her home. Her talk, “Bear With Me,” was Part II of the library’s Human Experience Series.
