It is with deep sadness that the family of Lorne Dalgetty, 55, announces his sudden passing on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013 in Toronto, Ont.
Lorne was born Nov. 19, 1958 in Atikokan, Ont.
He spent his childhood residing on French Lake prior to moving to Fort Frances, Ont., where he attended school and graduated from Fort Frances High School.
Lorne continued his education in Toronto, where he became a heating and air-conditioning technician—a job he enjoyed and excelled in.
Lorne spent the rest of his life residing in Toronto, where he enjoyed countless hours of perfecting his game of pool.
He is survived by mother, Jackie Dalgetty, of Fort Frances, Ont.; brother, Guy (Marnie) of Edmonton, Alta.; sisters, Joanne (Matthew) Sanders of Victoria Harbour, Ont. and Carolyn (Sandy) Skirten of Fort Frances, Ont.; nieces and nephews, Sarah, Jill, Amanda, James, Richard, Katherine, Bryson, and Chelsey; as well as his Auntie Norma Pattison and her family.
He was predeceased by his father, Keith Dalgetty; and grandparents, Cleve and Lillian Dalgetty and Steve and Jean Stephanson.
Cremation will take place.
A private family service, with interment at Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances, will take place at a later date.
