Alzheimer awareness

Eleanor Barron, Alzheimer Society of Kenora-Rainy River Districts “First Link” and public education co-ordinator, and Mayor Roy Avis got ready to raise the Alzheimer flag at the Civic Centre yesterday to mark January as “Alzheimer Awareness Month” in Fort Frances. Alzheimer Society events here this month include the “Forget Me Not” fundraiser dinner set for Saturday, Jan. 12 at La Place Rendez-Vous and a talk at the Super 8 Motel on Jan. 22.
