It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marjorie Martha Hayes on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013 at the Rainy River Health Centre in Rainy River, Ont.
Marjorie was born Sept. 20, 1924 and grew up in International Falls, Mn.
During her young adulthood, she worked in the mill but also at her family’s business, “The Log Cabin Inn” in International Falls.
In 1945, Marjorie married James Lenford Hayes and they owned/operated Sullivan’s Camp from 1958-1988.
Marjorie is survived by her sons, James (Marlene) Hayes, Bradley Hayes, and Shane (Chris) Hayes; grandchildren, Tracey (Tom) Roen, Michelle (John) Gaffney, Amber (Aaron) Janzen, Andrea Hayes, and Sam Hayes; and great-grandchildren, T.J. Roen, Jessica Roen, Julia Roen, James Gaffney, Jack Gaffney, Shane Liam Hayes, and Farrah Lynn Janzen.
Marjorie was predeceased by her parents, Otto and Jenny Masters; husband, James Lenford Hayes; and two great-grandchildren, Jason Roen and Sidney Janzen.
She will be greatly missed by her family, her many dear friends, and her LDS Church family.
Honouring Marjorie’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.
