Make-up game for Lakers scheduled
Thursday, 3 January 2013 - 2:21pm
Following a lengthy holiday break, the Lakers originally were to have returned to SIJHL action next Friday (Jan. 11) here against the league-leading Minnesota Wilderness.
Prior to that, the Lakers and Wilderness will head to Spooner, Wis. this weekend, where they’ll be taking on two teams from the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League in a “showcase” event.
The Lakers first will go up against the defending NOJHL and Dudley Hewitt Cup champion Soo Thunderbirds tomorrow afternoon.
Then they’ll face the Elliot Lake Bobcats on Saturday.
