Two-vehicle accident hurts three

On Tuesday around 4:30 p.m., Fort Frances OPP officers responded to a two-vehicle accident on Highway 11 in Alberton Township, about 15 km west of Fort Frances.
The collision involved an eastbound pickup truck that lost control, slid into the westbound lane, and struck a west bound pickup truck.

The 54-year-old male driver and 51-year-old female passenger, as well as the 29-year-old male driver of the second vehicle, were taken to La Verendrye Hospital and treated for minor injuries.
The highway was closed for about an hour while police investigated the accident.
