ABORIGINAL FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
The United Native Friendship Centre is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of
ABORIGINAL FAMILY SUPPORT WORKER
Part-time Position – 20 hrs/week
Qualifications:
• Post-secondary education in the Early Childhood Education field
• Experience in working with children aged 0-6 years
• Experience working with the Aboriginal community
• Experience in program development
• Excellent communication and public relations skills
• Knowledge of Aboriginal culture and heritage
• Group facilitation skills
• Ability to work as a team member
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of the Ojibway language would be an asset
• Must have a valid driver’s license
