In loving memory of Arnold Stanley Medicine (Honeybun), who passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012.
He was born Jan. 17, 1966 in Birchdale, Mn., the second-youngest of six children.
Arnold was predeceased by his parents, Betty and Donald Medicine; two brothers, Dale and Glen Medicine; and aunt and uncles, Angel Medicine, Eddie Medicine, and Stanley Medicine.
Arnold was a well-known person who will be deeply missed and loved by all.
He leaves to mourn his sister, Leta (Adam); brothers, Timothy (Angie) and Sidney (Wendy); special friend Barb Burroughs; children, Shannon, Conrad, Arnold, Dale, and Sharmaine; and six grandchildren, Jackson, Tacoah, Preston, Kolby, Lexi, and Ransom.
Also surving are his uncle and aunts, Joe Medicine, Berla Horton, and Liza White; nieces and nephews, Crystal, Talia, Sierra, Lela, Charles (Becky), Charles Jr., Cassandra, Brock, Blaze, Timothy Jr., Donald, Zachery, Andrew, Sarah, Alex, Kelly, Glen, Nevaeh, Gemma, David, and Marion; and the rest of many family members and friends.
May he rest in peace, and be remembered by all and forgotton by none.
A wake will be held Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 from 4 p.m. at the Rainy River First Nation gymnasium.
A traditional service will be held Friday, Oct. 26, 2012 in the morning at the Rainy River First Nation gymnasium, followed by a traditional burial ceremony in Rainy River First Nation Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be John Medicine, Curtis Medicine, Darryl Horton, Derek Horton, Vernon Horton, Gordon Kelly, Elias Bird, and Alton Brown.
The honourary pallbearers will be Conrad Bone, Arnold Bone Jr., Dale Bone, Charles Cook, Adam Soucy, and Alphie Sinclair.
