Ex-Fort resident to appear on ‘NCIS’

Former Fort Frances resident Trevor Torseth will appear in the next episode of the popular CBS drama “NCIS,” which airs this Tuesday (Dec. 11) at 7 p.m.
Torseth, who grew up in Fort Frances, is an actor in Los Angeles.

He will be playing the role of Al Parker in Tuesday’s episode, entitled “Devil’s Trifecta.”
Torseth’s parents are Barb Asplund (Mike) of Fort Frances and William Torseth Jr. (LInda) of International Falls, Mn.
This isn’t Torseth’s first foray into television, but probably is his biggest role yet.
In 2011, Torseth appeared in an episode of An American Horror Story (“Murder House”) and Ringer (“She’s Ruining Everything”).
He was in episodes of Look and Chuck in 2010.
Torseth also has appeared in several feature films (“NoNAMES,” “Lake Dead,” and “Trail of Blood”), as well as shorts and commercials.
“NCIS,” which stars Mark Harmon, Michael Weatherly, Pauly Perrette, David McCallum, and Sean Murray, has been on air since 2003.
In 2011, it was voted America’s favourite television show, and has won more than a dozen industry awards over the years.
It spawned a spin-off series, “NCIS: Los Angeles,” in 2009.
