Faragher honoured

Having taken over as the full-time starter this season, Faragher has made the most of his opportunity.
He currently sports a 6-5-0-0 record with a 2.14 GAA, which puts in him 20th place in the nation.
The Huskies, who are tied for second in the WCHA with the Minnesota Golden Gophers, are back in action this weekend against the host Alaska Anchorage Seawolves.

Fort Frances native Ryan Faragher has been one of the top goalies in the NCAA ranks this season for the St. Cloud State Huskies and this week was honoured as the WCHA’s defensive player of the week.
The 22-year-old sophomore made 59 saves, and gave up just one even-strength goal, in six periods during the Huskies’ weekend split against the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs.
