Curtis Julius Andy Handorgan, 31, of Thunder Bay, Ont., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

Curtis was born Dec. 16, 1980 in Fort Frances, Ont.

He worked for two years with the MNR of Thunder Bay as a firefighter. Curtis enjoyed the outdoors fishing, spending time drawing, loved being on the lakeshore every chance he had, and also enjoyed his music.

Curtis had numerous friends and was a caring person with everyone he knew, always willing to give help in every way possible. Even when he didn’t have it, he found a way to help.

Curtis will be lovingly and sadly missed by his mother, Elise Wesley and stepfather, David Wesley; daughters, Patricia Jean Handorgan and Precious Jewels Handorgan; brothers, George Handorgan Jr., Justin Handorgan, Daniel Booth, and Louis Nagy; and sister, Tanya Handorgan, Shirley Nagy, and Anne Marie Nagy.

Numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland St., presided by Pastor Glenn Wittmeier of the United Pentecostal Church.

Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens will follow the reception.

Visitation for family and friends will begin one hour prior to the service.

If friends so desire, in memoriam donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
