Sheila A. (Hoskins) Hammond, 61, passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2012 at her residence in Guelph, Ont. with the sound of Gordon Lightfoot flowing through the room, all her girls right at her side, pampering her . . . surrounded by her family and wrapped in lots of love.
Sheila was the beloved wife of Edwin (Ted) Hammond; dear mother of Shelly Grant (Corey), Deborah, Lorraine, Katherine, and Edwin, Jr., all of Guelph, Ont.; and loved grandmother of Emily, Nevin, Ethan, Emma, Thomas, Matthew, and Isabelle.
Dear sister of Elaine Hoskins of Ottawa, Ont., Gordon Hoskins (Bonnie) and David Hoskins, all of Emo, Ont., and Fred Cope (Joan) of Windsor, Ont.
She is resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home (Dublin Chapel), 252 Dublin St. N. in Guelph, on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2012 at 1 p.m.
Interment in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
