P.A.R.T.Y. program

P.A.R.T.Y. program

Nursing supervisor Lori Green assisted Grade 10 students from Fort Frances High School in an attempt to save the life of “Rory Paulson” yesterday in the emergency room at La Verendrye Hospital during a session of the Prevent Alcohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth (P.A.R.T.Y.) program. Meant to teach students about making smart choices, the youth clearly were able to see the possible consequences of their actions by using “METIman”—a $60,000 technologically-advanced simulator mannequin which recently was purchased.
