Gregory Hector Gouliquer, 50, of Atikokan, Ont., passed away, with family by his side, on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Atikokan General Hospital.

Greg was born Sept. 30, 1960 to Arthur and Madeline (nee King) Gouliquer of Atikokan.

He resided in Atikokan for most of his life, and had a great love for gardening, fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his spouse, Bonnie, of Atikokan; children, Dawn Marie Gouliquer, Nikki Gouliquer (Karl Kirst), Amanda Goodman, and James Plourde; and grandchildren, Braydon, Ashton, Amber, Eric, AJ, Shawn, Jaylie, and Katy.

Greg also is survived by his brothers, Reg (Mary Ann) of Thunder Bay, Ont., Ken (Bonnie) of Atikokan, Ont., Elmer (Myrna) of Atikokan, Ont., Melvin (Kim) of Winnipeg, Man., and Colin (Patty) of Atikokan, Ont.; sisters, Marie (Frank) of Atikokan, Ont., Donna (Ray) of Fort Frances, Ont., Doreen( Bob) of Fort Frances, Ont., and Colleen (Henry) of Atikokan, Ont.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Greg was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Madeline Gouliquer; brother, Garry; sister, Maxine Wilson; nephew, Rodney Squire; brothers-in-law, Everett Strom, Gordon Wilson, and Phillip Squire; his grandparents; and numerous aunts and uncles.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at noon at the Atikokan Community Fellowship Church, with Pastor Brad Ricci officiating.

Interment took place in Little Falls Cemetery in Atikokan.

A reception followed at the Atikokan Community Fellowship Church.

The honourary pallbearers were all of Greg’s family.
