Seven Generations Education Institute requires Post Secondary Instructors to teach courses in the Humanities for the Police Foundations and Indigenous Wellness & Addictions Programs.
• Deliver enhanced College courses reflecting Aboriginal and
regional knowledge.
• Manage and supervise students.
• Evaluate and report student progress.
• Minimum University Degree in related sociology field.
• Excellent communication skills– written, oral, interpersonal,
organizational and computer skills.
• 5 years experience in related field.
• Demonstrated ability to understand cultural influences and issues specific to Aboriginal adult learners in northern communities.
• The ability to speak an Aboriginal language would be an asset.
• Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry Check must be
provided, if selected for an interview.
Remuneration: Dependent on qualifications and experience.
Term: Contract position, Jan-April 2013
