Unexpectedly, the family announces the sudden passing of Terry Pettis on March 13, 2010.
Terry loved to see different places, which kept him and Irene travelling a lot of the time.
Terry often was teased about him and Irene being on the road travelling more than being at home.
Terry is survived by his best friend, and loving and devoted wife, Irene; son, Kevin (Lisa) Pettis; daughters, Tammy (Darryl) Shine and Joleen Pettis; grandchildren, Haeli Pettis, Kayla Shine, Michael Shine, Amanda Pettis, Justin Bougié, and Rebecca Bougié-Coté; and great-grandson, Jonathon Bannon.
Also surviving are his very special sister, Debra Pettis; sisters, Cheryl (Jamie) Trendiak, Alta (Keith) Fenton, and Marilyn (Phil) Junnila; brother, Ronald Pettis; nieces and nephews; and “adopted nephew,” Sean Fautsch a.k.a. Acorn.
As per Terry’s wishes, cremation has taken place and with no funeral.
An open house to celebrate Terry’s life will be held May 15, 2010 from 1-4 p.m. at Lake Despair Lodge Cabin #1.
In memoriam donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the War Amps.
