PeeWee ‘A’ tourney set

A dozen teams will battle it out in a PeeWee ‘A’ tournament here over the weekend.
Green’s Countrywide Furniture, the Lions, and Fort Frances Firemen are the local teams competing in the three-day showdown at the Ice For Kids Arena, with the Emo Express also taking part.

Teams from Kenora, Winnipeg, Dryden, and Thunder Bay round out the field.
The Lions will face Emo to kick things off at 9:15 a.m., with Green’s first contest slated for 10:15 a.m. against Bishop P&H (Kenora).
The Firemen then will hit the ice at 11:15 versus the Dryden Flyers.
Tournament action will run until Sunday, with the championship game slated for 1:15 p.m.
