Junior spikers sweep Eagles

In other action, the Muskie junior girls’ basketball squad clinched first place—and a bye to the NorWOSSA final next Thursday—with a convincing 52-26 win over the host Eagles.
The senior girls, meanwhile, held Dryden in check for most of their game. But the hosts pulled away late to take a 44-32 victory.
Adriane Gurski and Sarah Glover led Fort High with 10 points each.
The Muskie senior boys’ volleyball squad also had its final road game of the regular season in Dryden on Tuesday, but full details on that match were not available.
All four squads wrapped up regular-season play this afternoon against the visiting Kenora Broncos.
The NorWOSSA playoffs are set for next Thursday (Nov. 8) in Kenora.

The Muskie junior boys’ volleyball team beat the Dryden Eagles in NorWOSSA action for the first time this season.
Playing Tuesday in Dryden, the black-and-gold swept the league leaders in three sets (25-23, 25-16, and 25-19) to improve their record to 4-3.
