‘Walk for Memories’

A group of walkers, led by Eleanor Barron and Krista Nielson, strolled down the riverfront Saturday afternoon during the annual “Walk for Memories.” The event, which drew 21 participants, raised $2,882 for the Alzheimer Society of Kenora-Rainy River Districts. The walk started at the New Beginnings Fellowship on Mill Road, with the four-km route going from there to the Sorting Gap Marina and back.
