Gobeil also had an 80-yard kick-off return for a touchdown while quarterback Tobijah Gerber hooked up with Finn Chalupsky for an 85-yard touchdown reception.
On defence, the Muskies wreaked havoc on Celtics’ quarterback Jake Siferd all afternoon. They came up with five interceptions, with Caleb MacIntosh returning a pick for a touchdown.
With the win, the black-and-gold finished the regular season with a 3-4 mark, which left them in a three-way tie with the Kenora Broncos and Daniel McIntyre Maroons.
But under the WHSFL’s tie-breaker system, the Muskies were awarded eighth in the final standings and now will face the Steinbach Sabres (6-1), who finished the regular season in first place.
The Sabres won 18-9 when the two squads clashed here back on Oct. 12.
The quarter-final showdown will be held at Canad Inns Stadium this Friday, with the opening kick-off set for 3 p.m.
