Stick donation

Community Services manager Jason Kabel, left, and Bob Steele looked on as former Fort Frances Canadians’ captain Sambo Fedoruk pointed out the names of his fellow teammates on a goalie stick that was signed by the members of the 1952 Allan Cup championship squad. The stick, which orginally belonged to Steele’s grandfather and former Canadians’ manager, Glen Steele, was donated to the Memorial Sports Centre yesterday afternoon and can be viewed in a display in the lobby of the ’52 Canadians Arena.
