Fire prevention

Fire Prevention Captain Wayne Riches spoke to Grade 1 students at St. Michael’s School about fire safety yesterday as the youngsters had a chance to check out the fire truck and ask questions. Students from JK-Grade 3 at St. Michael’s, as well as J.W. Walker School, learned about fire safety while Riches will be visiting JK-Grade 3 students at Robert Moore School tomorrow. In addition, a Fall Fire Safety Day will be held Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Canadian Tire here, with information booths and fire equipment on display.
