Rainy River Community College Voyageurs’ defender Megan Markuson reached for the puck while Muskie forward Alyssa Penner raced in from behind during a friendly scrimmage Friday afternoon at the ’52 Canadians Arena here. The black-and-gold now are getting ready for their first tournament of the season Oct. 25-27 in Winnipeg while the Voyageurs will host their ACHA Division II season-opener Saturday, Oct. 20 versus the Iowa State Cyclones at Kerry Park Arena in International Falls.
