She was a past member of the Rebekahs Lodge, but most of all she was a loving mother, grandmother, and devoted wife to Otto.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Betty Anne (John) Kiddell of Winnipeg, Man. and Marilyn Dallman of Stratford, Ont. Also surviving are grandchildren, David, Kelly and Emilia; and nieces and nephews, Leo, Ben, Jim, Mary Jane, and Laura.
She was predeceased by her husband, Otto, on Jan. 4, 2003; her parents, Friedrich and Sophia Betinsky; brothers, Adolphe, Henry, Willie, and Herman; and sisters, Emelia and Louise.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, with Fr. Wayne McIntosh and Rev. Barbara Murray officiating.
Interment will take place in Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances on Friday, Jan. 4, 2007 at 9 a.m.
Special thanks for their excellent care to Valerie Mills, Dannette Allan, and all of the wonderful staff at Rainycrest, and to Dr. Algie, Mary Boucher-Polz, and the caring staff at La Verendrye General Hospital.
