Vikings’ helmet raffle set

The Jr. Wolverines football team will be raffling off a Minnesota Vikings’ helmet during the Muskies’ Homecoming game tomorrow.
Tickets cost $2 each.

The team—featuring 30 players in Grades 7-8—was hard at work fundraising this past summer, raising $7,000-$8,000 that went toward new helmets and jerseys for all the players.
The first-year squad, coming off a win Monday evening in International Falls, will be in Dryden on Saturday for a scrimmage.
Those same two teams then will meet here the Oct. 13 at noon.
