OPP names operations manager

He was promoted to Detective Sergeant–Area Crime Supervisor in 2005 and acted in that role until 2008 when he went back into a uniform role as a shift supervisor.
S/Sgt. Gobeil moves into the operations manager role previously held by Inspector Steve Shouldice who was subsequently promoted to detachment commander in April of this year.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) North West Regional Command in partnership with the Rainy River District Detachment Commander are please to announce that Staff Sergeant Scott Gobeil has been named as the Rainy River District OPP Detachment operations manager.
A police veteran with over 24 years of policing experience, S/Sgt. Gobeil began his policing career with the Fort Frances Police Service (FFPS) in 1988.
