BBQ planned

The local Salvation Army will be holding a back-to-school barbecue this Saturday (Sept. 8) at Walmart.
For a small fee, get a hotdog, chips, and pop from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

“We invite all of the residents and their children to come along and enjoy some back-to-school barbecue for a small price,” Lt. Dennis Maybury said yesterday.
“What we raise will go to our Family Services program,” he noted.
