Long-time donor

The Canadian Blood Services’ inaugural summer clinic here saw 137 donors contribute 108 units on the first day, which was slightly lower than the goal of 119 units. But CBS still was hoping to reach its two-day goal of 297 units, which can be met if the last 81 open appointments are filled between noon-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. today.
