Japanese painting

“Tween Thursday” yesterday at the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre saw Katelyn Bruyere, 11, and Evelyn Stanger, 10, paint Japanese cherry blossoms as part of the themed event, “Japanese Rock ’n Roll.” They later made origami and vegetable sushi to finish off the afternoon. The next “Tween Thursday” will be a “Mexican Fiesta” on Aug. 16.
