Plane crash hurts two

The pilot, a 78-year-old male, and a 62-year-old female were injured in the crash while the other passenger, a 44-year-old male, was not.
All three, who are from Cloquet, Mn., were taken to Lake of the Woods District Hospital.
The pilot subsequently was being transferred to Thunder Bay while the female was transferred to Duluth.
Their injuries were listed as serious.
The Transport Safety Board has been contacted and will be investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Kenora OPP received a call around 9:30 a.m. yesterday that a small plane had gone down in the bush north of Kenora.
The Cessna 180 was trying to take off from their camp situated on Trout Lake when it crashed.
