Biker hurt

The Rainy River District OPP continues to investigate a serious accident involving a motorcycle in Dawson Township.
The collision occurred Sunday around 8:30 p.m. when the southbound motorcycle lost control on Worthington Road #3 and entered the west ditch about half-a-kilometre from Highway 11.

Rainy River Ambulance responded to the scene, and the 24-year-old male driver, who currently resides in Edson, Alta., subsequently was transported to hospital in Winnipeg with serious injuries.
The driver was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
