Fish fry

The Halkirk fire protection team will hold its 21st-annual fish fry, also featuring homemade pies and a penny auction, on Saturday, Aug. 4 from noon-6 p.m. at the fire hall on Bear Pass Road. Admission is $12 for adults and $5 for kids, which includes dessert. No dogs please!
