Wedding theft probed

Police still are investigating a theft that occurred at the Memorial Sports Centre in the early hours of Sunday following a wedding reception there.
When the newly-weds returned to the upstairs hall that afternoon to clean up, they discovered the fireproof safe box was missing.

It contained roughly $1,000 from bar sales, as well as wedding cards containing an unknown amount of cash.
The couple is hoping their wedding cards, given to them by family and friends, can be recovered due to the sentimental value.
