Water damage disrupts court

The Ministry of the Attorney General has taken the precautionary measure of closing the Fort Frances Courthouse due to water damage.
Full court services will be restored there as soon as it is safe to do so.

Ontario Court of Justice hearings scheduled at the Fort Frances Courthouse have been transferred to council chambers at the Civic Centre.
Court counter services, meanwhile, are located at the Victim/Witness Assistance Program office at 283 Church St.

The Superior Court of Justice continues to evaluate court sitting requirements to accommodate those trials.
Litigants and/or counsel should contact the above number for further information.
