Theft from cabin

The Rainy River District OPP Detachment on the Ontario Provincial Police is currently investigating a break, enter and theft to a cabin in the area of Crow Rock Inlet on Rainy Lake.
Sometime between May 13 and 16, 2012, culprit(s) broke into a cabin by prying open the cabin door, rummaging through the belonging inside the cabin and stealing a small Honda Generator.

The value of the property is just over $600 and the cost to repair the damaged door is expected to be around $200.
Members of the public are asked to lock up valuables or take them with you if you are leaving for an extended period of time.
Police will add serial numbers to the Canadian Police Information Computer (CPIC) which will help officers identified your found/recovered property.
Take the time to write down identifying numbers in case items are stolen.
In addition, have a trusted neighbour or family member check your property while you are away.
