Eye dotting

Mayor Roy Avis “dotted” the eye of the dragon on the dragon boat this morning with Jenny Greenhalgh, organizer of the first “Boundary Waters Dragon Boat Festival.” Dotting the eye is supposed to awaken the spirit of the dragon, bless the paddlers and the boats, and bring good fortune to the community.
