Spots still open for mini-royalty contest
It’s not too late to enter your boy or girl in the mini-king and mini-queen contest, which will be held next Wednesday (June 27) at 11 a.m. in front of the Fort Frances Museum.
Organizers Melissa Gushulak said that of this morning, there are openings for four boys and two girls. They must be aged four-seven as of July 1.
The entry fee is $5 per child, with the money going back into prizes for the event.
Gushulak explained the event has been simplified this year, and the only thing the kids will have to do is answer questions, such as what is your favourite movie/TV show, what is your favourite colour, do you have any pets or siblings, your favourite thing to do in the summer, etc.
The newly-crowned mini-king and queen will be asked to participate in the Canada Day parade.
