Spots still open for mini-royalty contest
Friday, 22 June 2012 - 1:08pm
But the deadline to sign up is this Sunday, so if parents want to enter their child, call Melissa at 270-4875 as soon as possible. (If she’s not home, leave a message on her voicemail and she’ll get back to you.)
The entry fee is $5 per child, with the money going back into prizes for the event.
Gushulak explained the event has been simplified this year, and the only thing the kids will have to do is answer questions, such as what is your favourite movie/TV show, what is your favourite colour, do you have any pets or siblings, your favourite thing to do in the summer, etc.
The newly-crowned mini-king and queen will be asked to participate in the Canada Day parade.
