Solidarity walk

Members of area First Nations marched together in a solidarity walk this morning to bring to attention the outstanding land claim issues surrounding the Point and including the waterfront up to Frenette Avenue. The walk, which was sponsored by Couchiching, Naticatchewenin, Nigigoonsiminikaaning, and Mitaanigamiing First Nations, began and ended at the Point and was followed by a feast and speakers.
