Special social

Dear editor:
I wanted to clarify in my own words that I, in partnership with La Place Rendez-Vous, will be holding the “It’s Eh Celebration Social” on Friday, June 29 from 9 p.m.-1 a.m. in the upstairs ballroom.

This is a special social as it not only kicks off our Canada Day celebration, but will raise funds for a very worthwhile cause.
Being a cancer survivor, I like to help in any way I can possible towards fighting cancer and finding a cure, so proceeds from this social will be donated to the Riverside Foundation for Health Care’s “Together We Can” campaign for a digital mammography unit.
We have invited Nicke Baird to speak on behalf of their campaign that evening, and at this time we would like to invite our community out for a fun-filled start to our local Canada Day events while donating to a much needed cause.
Tickets are available at the Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce office for $10 each, or at the door that evening.
