Jerry Wu, a Fort Frances High School student and Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), had a chance to practise chest compressions on “METIman” at La Verendrye Hospital last week while local paramedic John Beaton assisted. The $58,000 simulator mannequin, which provides a realistic educational and training opportunity, is one Beaton is hoping to purchase for First Responders and the local P.A.R.T.Y program. He hopes to acquire the funds through donations from community partners and grants.

What on earth does
What on earth does "P.A.R.T.Y" stand for?
