Pickle craving hits jackpot

FORT SASKATCHEWAN, Alta.—An Alberta couple is $22 million richer after a trip to the grocery store to buy some pickles.
Lawayne Musslewhite and Marillyn Hodgkinson of Fort Saskatchewan had the only ticket that matched all seven numbers for last Friday’s Lotto Max jackpot.

Musslewhite said he went to a Sobey’s outlet to buy some pickles for sandwiches last week and grabbed six lottery tickets on the way out.
He was anything but sour upon discovering his good luck Saturday when he checked the numbers online.
The couple claimed their cheque yesterday afternoon.
They’re planning a holiday in Arizona, and also want to buy a new home with a dishwasher.
