Folk Festival holding contest to design logo
Friday, 5 March 2010 - 1:47pm
“We want it to be something that can be incorporated into the T-shirt design not only this year but for all years to come,” Krag explained.
Along with the “fame and fortune” that would come with the title of Fort Frances Folk Festival logo designer, the winner will receive free admission to the festival this year and possibly some other goodies.
People are allowed to submit multiple entries, with the deadline being midnight on Friday, March, 12.
Submissions can be e-mailed to Krag at jennifer@mossyoga.com
Once the logo is selected and announced, festival organizers then are planning to hold a contest to design the T-shirts, buttons, and posters that will incorporate the new logo into the design.
The deadline for that contest has been set for March 24.

Calling all local artists! Organizers of the Fort Frances Folk Festival are holding a contest for members of the public to design its official logo.
“We want a small, to the point image that represents the folk festival, music, small town, tall grasses, collective love, any and everything you can fit in that describes our festival,” said organizer Jennifer Krag.

Clueless
Somehow I'm not surprised. Maybe I should hold a yoga instructor contest with the winner receiving the honor of being my instructor for free!! Think of the publicity!
